Every guide starts with real research — I check prices on official provider pages, read the actual terms (including the renewal-price fine print nobody else mentions), and verify claims against independent sources. When I can't verify something, I say so.
I don't do speed tests I didn't run, "fastest VPN" superlatives, or prices I can't confirm today. If a provider's promo changes hourly, I'll tell you to check live pricing instead of quoting a stale number.
How I work
Research first. Every flagship guide starts with a verified research brief — prices, features, and fine print checked against official sources in October 2026.
Honest about limits. Our "How We Tested" section says exactly what we did and didn't do. No fake lab coats.
Corrections welcome. Prices change, providers update terms. If you spot something outdated, email [email protected] — we publish corrections.
