The Verdict by Traveler Type
- Widest plan choice → Airalo. The biggest menu of sizes ($6–$31), in-app top-ups, loyalty credits, and the brand most travelers already know.
- Privacy on public Wi-Fi → Saily. Built-in ad blocker, web protection, and virtual location — plus 24/7 live chat and a 30-day refund window.
- Need a Thai number → Yesim. The only one of the three with a real +66 number (voice plan) — essential for Grab, bank OTPs, and delivery riders.
What They Don't Tell You
Airalo's "unlimited" = 3GB/day, then ~1Mbps. Fine for maps and messaging, painful for video. The throttling clause is in the fine print.
Saily requires its app — no QR-by-email option. If you hate installing apps, pick another.
Yesim's number needs a voice plan. The base data plans are data-only like the others — the +66 number comes with the voice add-on, so check the plan details.
None of Airalo or Saily has a Thai number. If you need Grab or SMS OTPs, see our Thai number eSIM guide.
What Real Users Say

- Saily: Consistently praised for app simplicity and connection reliability; younger brand, smaller review pool
- Yesim: Praised for flexible pay-as-you-go and responsive support; per-GB cost adds up for heavy users
